When I watched the film for the second time, I enjoyed the film more, and understand more as lots of uncertainties became clear to me, I guess mostly because some scenes I can't watch clearly previously due to my sight was blurred as a result of tear filled my eyes.
While watching the film, suddenly there is an idea that flashed into my mind. In my opinion, what made this film and us as a Malaysian so special is the fusion of cultures of various races we have in Malaysian as one. And we can notice clearly this fusion in our language and food especially.
I can't really notice this fusion of culture while I watched other international screens from various other countries except from Malaysia......
