I always asked my friends, including myself that Do you think the color blue you see the same as mine? Now I know that it is different, at least to an autistic savant with Asperger's syndrome like Daniel Tammet, or a color blind person, like me (mild).
Throughout this memoir, Daniel Tammet is very sincere to his relationship, and I wish to quote one of his paragraph that sound like this
No relationship is without its difficulties and this is certainly true when one or both persons involved has an autistic spectrum disorder. Even so, I believe what is truly essential to the success of any relationship is not so much compatibility, but love. When you love someone, virtually anything is possible.
How true...
Furthermore, I found the best definition of love in this memoir that he quotes from 1 Corinthian
Love is patient, love is kind.
Love is not envious, jealous or boastful. It is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own ways. It is not irritable or resentful. It does not rejoice at wrong and wrong-doing, but rejoices in right and truth.
Love bears all things, believe all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
So faith, hope and love abide these three.
But the greatest of these is love.
You don't have to be disabled to be different, because everyone's different (Kim Peek).Wow......
