The worst way to design an experiment is Not doing the experimental design.
This is the most common problem I encounter so far.
And the most common excuses I gathered for this is "I don't know what to expect, is all accidental finding"
Ya, but now your data can't be analyzed at all..... and you have to repeat your experiment again. Perhaps they are just pilot or preliminary study....... =p
