We need to pay to achieve our dream

We need to pay to achieve what we dream of.

This is the truth.

As described by John C. Maxwell in Put Your Dream to the Test: 10 Questions to Help You See It and Seize Itabout the truth about the price that we ought to pay for our dreams are as follows:

  1. The dream is free, but the journey isn't.
  2. The price must be paid sooner that you think.
  3. The price with be higher that you expect.
  4. The price must be paid more than once.
  5. It is possible to pay too much for your dream.

As I read about "it is possible to pay too much for your dream", I remembered of two sad incidences I read recently at AppleHeadlines on the price that 2 Chinese teenagers willing to pay to get a iPhone 4 and iPad.  To get a iPhone 4, a Chinese teenage girl is willing to sell her virginity and to get a iPad, a Chinese teenage boy is willing to sell one of his kidney.

Frankly speaking, currently iPhone and iPad has been regards as devises that show or elevate your social status, and lots of people are crazy about them, and will pay whatever price to posses them.

Are the price that these two Chinese teenagers paid is too much?  I am sure it is.
