After the meeting, he seems to work harder, and doesn't canceled his appointment "urgently"; could be a good sign indicating he knows he should work hard, rather than always giving the excuses of family commitments, not enough materials etc for not performing.

I do really hope that he does really understand and knows his duties, rather than walks like cow that need to be constantly been pulled or like rat running around the maze for cheese not knowing the direction for sure......
