The 5 regrets of the dying

It has been some time ago since my last visit to Paulo Coelho's blog.

Today, I came across one of his entry entitled "The five regret" which is a resume from Bonnie Ware's blog entry entitled "Regret of the Dying".

I am stumbled when I read the blog entry.

Following are the 5 regrets of the dying (I hope I will not be having such regret when the moment come):
  1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
  2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
  3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
  4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
  5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

At this point, suddenly remembered of two Robin Sharma's books I read years ago, Who Will Cry When You Die?and The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams & Reaching Your Destiny where he beutifully wrote that "Would you rather live your life according to the approval of others or aligned with your truth and your dreams?" and "Wealth is not only measured by how much money you have, it is also measured by how much you are at peace within."
